FIND an OT is an easy to use tool that allows people to connect and find the occupational therapy services that are right for them, their clients or their families.
Occupational therapists help people across the lifespan participate in the activities they need and want to do. Don’t be fooled by the title “occupation”—it is more than work. For occupational therapists (OT for short), “occupation” refers to all the meaningful and necessary activities that a person needs and wants to do. These can range from taking care of yourself (bathing and getting dressed), to taking care of your family (cooking, childcare, cleaning), going to work or school and enjoying your free time.
Occupational therapy enables people to achieve health, well-being and life satisfaction and can help you get back to the job of living!
